Number Rods

Montessori number rods illustrate the representation of quantities through numbers and demonstrate the combination of units to form quantities. They are instrumental in facilitating counting up to ten. Similar to the Large Numerical Rods, this set of small number rods, comprising two sets, serves the purposes of addition and subtraction. The collection consists of ten small wooden rods in each set, distinguished by alternating red and blue colors to indicate units. The utilization of Number Rods introduces students to the concept of measurement. Instead of merely comparing lengths and stating, "this one is longer," students can now precisely quantify the difference between two rods.

Made of solid wood and painted with water-based paints.
